I see from the owners manual about the kessys system. How can you tell if the car has it or not, having bought the car used. Thank you.

You won't have an ignition barrel on the steering wheel column. You'll simply have a push start button. Kessy also has the indents for the touch lock/unlock sensors on the front door handles.

Ok, well I have an ignition barrel for sure so I guess I don’t have it then. 

No locks on the doors though? What happens if a key fails to operate?

You use the key

 

 

in the hidden door lock barrel behind the false cover at the end of the door handle.

But if you have an alarm it will go off until you put the key in the ignition and turn it on.

Useful to know about the alarm stopping when you put the key in the ignition.

If you look underneath the door handle end cap for the lever hole.
