Add problem

Featured Replies

Hi guys, got a message afs....Headlights pointing to the ground any ideas thanks

Assuming that you have Xenons it could be one of these issues (or both?):-

I had a similar problem late last year - turned out to water damage to the sensor module.

Hope that helps.

If it's not an issue with the basic mechanical beam adjustment, then it's probably a sensor, controller or actuator fault. If both lamps are behaving the same way then the finger is pointed towards a ride height sensor or the main headlamp control module. A read through the threads @drefaldwyn posted will give you some insight. It would also be a good idea as a first step to get the control module scanned with VCDS or similar to see if it is reporting any faults.
