Wind rain deflectors

Got them fitted. Very easy to fit and I don't think I need to use the clips. The 2 front ones are currently affecting the one pull for the windows to go up, they get to the top and come back down again.

When end I fitted them to the Passat, I reset the windows as per the driver's handbook.

Close the window by keeping the button pulled up until it gets to the top. Then release and pull the button up again for a couple of seconds. Repeat the procedure for opening the window.

Thanks, I'll give that a go if I have any issues when I try them next.

I wish my ipad wouldn't keep adding words to what I'm writing.  It only seems to be doing it on this forum.

After a week of unsuccessfully trying to make them work with the auto close I've given up and removed them. I think I'll put up with occasionally getting water in the car, losing auto close is too much of an inconvenience.

I might have just been lucky, but I did fit them in much warmer weather. Try adding fresh double sided tape and making sure they are right up against the outside of the gutter by pulling down on them while the window is up then leave them overnight.

If that doesn’t work I’m guessing the clips will keep them located properly.

tis a shame the mk3 Superb doesn't have the same feature as my previous mk2 Octavia RS, which had a rain-sensor that would automatically close the windows if it started raining.

damn u skoda!!!

Does the MK3 not have this?  My MK2 does! Seems we may be going backwards in time

They look pretty good. But would they solve the original problem?

Big annoyance of the superb , open driver window , turn a corner , contents of roof rain in cabin

When it’s raining and the car is stationary (engine/ac off) I also like to open the window for some fresh air.

The MK3 Superb most definitely doesn't have it.

Even with coding.

Some earlier models of the MK3 had the right hardware, but that was quickly changed.  Something to do with the car's electronics in sleep mode.

Tis a shame we went backwards with this feature.

Yep Diesels are for the chop soon.

Off topic sorry

My new company car scheme says " new leases must be under 90 co2"

What!!! Nissan F-in Leaf or Ren Zoe. I want fast , stylish, love diesel oomph. What below 90 fits that bill

I wont re -lease via company
