Well I have to say it was good to see a bunch of friendly chaps on my first trip out with the briskodians, and hopefully will be coming to a few more of these too!

Had a scare on the way home though, motoring along the A30 on the way home at 'sensible' speeds, (I don't have a remap so high speeds are of course impossible... ) when suddenly out of a slip road a police car pulls out lights flashing in front of me, and then another one comes out and pulls up behind me! So there I am an octavia sandwich between too coppers who seem to be slowing down slightly with their lights on the go! Then the dreaded indicators come on and I think ok, I am stuffed, someone must have been watching me further up the road and they have come looking for me! :eek:

However as I start to brake and get ready to pull over like the good boy I am, the lead car pulls into a petrol station that has its alarm bell ringing as does the car behind...... and I am free to disappear!

It was shut at the bottom of natley scures last night just at the bottom of the hill looked like a mass pile up and fatel with the amount of fire engines cops and amb...

Whilst it has never been anyones intention to extract the urine, I have to ask is the lighthearted way we communicate any worse that boasting about CC1 and CC2, and posting block after block of VagCom plots in evidence of the claims.

I also note that these plots have never been questioned nor have the authors been asked not to post them, or are we now being told it is alright to mention a tuner if you back it up with block after block of VagCom plots, I would add that these same blocks of VagCom plots appear on most of the other forums, advertising the CC maps without comment or complaint from moderators.

As it appers we are now the lepers of the forum, I will not mention "IMPOSSIBLE PERFORMANCE" again.

I always thought that non abusive free speech was allowed, but obviously not in this case.

I've never met you Gerry, so I can't claim to know how lighthearted an individual you are. Since you immediately replied with the long lecture above, it's pretty obvious that your posts have been deliberately designed to needle those other people you mention.

"lepers of the forum" - not sure where that comes from - all I did was voice my own personal opinion in what I thought was a pretty mild and non-confrontational manner, likewise it seems I'm not allowed to do that!

No Nick, you have not hit a nerve, and you certainly do not have a key big enough to wind me up.

The above was not a long lecture, but a statement of fact, and perhaps now you have asked us to stop plugging a certain tuner, you can tell us why you did not do the same to posts as mentioned, as these have certainly been going on lots, lots longer that this one, without any comment from yourself.

Also the posts have not been designed to needle (As you say) other people who post, for I honestly think we should all be allowed freedom of speech, provided it is within the rules of the forum.

I have no problem with people posting about CC, Jabba or any other tuner that has given them good service, and back anyone who does have the good manners to praise what is in their opinion a good service., in the same way that we should.

So, what do we now do, ban all comments about any tuner or go back to Status Quo, and those with a sense of humour are still allowed free speech.

Nick, we are never going to see eye to eye on this one, as we both have our own opinions, also you did not see fit to question any of the previously mentioned recommendations, but felt the need to comment on ours.
