Just got an airbag error and been quoted 356 quid for renewal of NSF Door harness , as its causing an airbag error ! But they cant get a harness for 21 days , typical ! Any ideas ? 

I've had an airbag light on for about 6 months now....all working fine but I suppose until I have a prang I won't know if it is functioning or not.....sorry, that wasn't meant to be flippant but I'm treating it as a light issue not a safety issue (a plug in scan has not been conclusive).

A decent auto electrician might be able to repair the loom rather than replacing it.

I am positive that if the Airbag light is ON it prevents any airbag deploying in the event of an accident not just the faulty one

And as above any competent auto Elec will fix for far cheaper and faster
