Hello guys.

Been messing with obdeleven for some time and managed to activate all sorts of things.

First of all, my car is an octavia 5e combi vrs tdi 4x4 and i have a columbus mib 2.

I need help on two issues, if possible:

1. installed a high rearview camera, with moving guiding lines and i cannot get it to stay active when moving forward until ops switches off.

When i engage reverse, the camera activates and i can swith to ops only and back. when i go from r to n or d, i only get the full screen ops and the button to switch to camera is "greyed out".

2. i've messed something up in my phone/bluetooth settings and now in the maxidot, in the call logs, all unsaved numbers show as unknown number and i cannot initiate a call to a number not in my phonebook from the steering wheel controls.

On my columbus phone screen everything works ok and i can call any unsaved number from the call logs.

i have no clue as to what i changed and where (i know... stupid me) but before i messed it up, everything was working fine.

i think the camera is only supposed to work in reverse gear.

 

maybe if you delete your phone from the bluetooth phone list  and clear its memory all out  then it may work. im not sure  but its what they always say 'delete it all turn it off and on again and reinstall'. worth a try as it wont take long.

no idea how you get your original settings back if you have messed with loads. im a newbie with obdeleven.

There is a history log of every change you make in OBDEleven. I would suggest to start there and reverse back the coding/adaptation changes you did to see if that resolves the problems. If it does then perhaps double check the changes before reapplying.
