my recent cars were in this order, VW Golf 1.8 55kw 1993, Skoda Fabia 5J 1.2 HTP 2007, Audi C5 A6 Avant 2.7T Quattro S line 1999, now Škoda Fabia vRS 1.9TDI 130hp 2003

 

I live in Croatia, nice small town next to Dubrovnik, formerly known sort of from game of throens filming. Not so important, and not such a fan of the serial.

 

Today I've bought my new old Skoda Fabia vRS 1.9TDI, firsm model from december 2003,

main eq:

cruise control

full dark interior

very clean white seats very good condition/arm rest from polo

heated seats

4 electric windows

left mirror from UK, small mirror delete

xenon OEM

no cat

EGR on

new Audi A1 rims, 205/45-16 Goodyear Eagle Ultra Grip dot 0917

 

259.000KM now when I brought it from the Capital of Croatia, Zagreb to the very south of croatia Dubrovnik.

 

In a very special day yesterday, usually we dont have snow int he south, but this was one of the very very few moment you get to see the whole country coverd up in snow.

 

As I work in a rent a car company, I rented a BMW X1 2018 S18Drive, with heated seats etc great for snow.

 

But the main thing is that I felt much more satisfied with the Skoda driving it back then with the BMW.

 

I was also very satisfied with my 5J Skoda Fabia 1.2 HTP with 60hp, the quality of driving was remarkable, also this 6Y base is a joy to drive on the highway together with cruise control.

 

So that my satisfaction doesnt end... I decided to join this community with my vRS model and sort of keep track on small fixes, since I was lead to this forum by a google EGR delete search.

 

My car doesnt have a cat but still the leaking EGR, which i was thinking to swap out. 

 

Also I dont work as a mechanic but my knowledge is enough to understand the principe of a diesel/petrol engine, and I was schooled for a mechanic.

 

petrol head with a heart for 2 and 4 wheel vehicles.
