The unit keeps turning itself on and off and the screen is all messed up (see pic attatched). Is this the end of the unit or is there an easy repair or replacement? Many thanks

Have you tried a reset? No idea if it would work or not, I'd guess not, but I'd probably start with that.

Think you just hold three of the top four buttons (all except eject) down for about 30 seconds. Release when the screen reboots.
