Why will they not produce a Fabia vRS

Featured Replies

I would certainly be interested in a Mk3 Fabia vRS, but it's not a given that I would buy a Skoda. Price, specification, ride and handling are key for me. As things stand, I will be trying to persuade Mrs T into a Polo GTI DSG next year.

Didnt want start a new topic, because it would probably turn into a vrs topic anyway:

What are peoples current thoughts on the R5 Edition? http://www.skoda-auto.com/news/news-detail/fabia-limited-edition

Local main dealer here in Estonia has two of them in showroom, for about 3 weeks now. They look cool, the specs are kinda nice, but then i see the price and its almost 20k eur, and all i can think is, damn that is a pricey Fabia that is released just when  the facelift is just about to ship.

I love the R5 Fabia, the way it looks in that colour and the wheel combo, shame they never sold them in the UK.
