Had a small incident almost 2 weeks ago and I am trying to get it sorted without making the claim to the insurance .

The damage is mainly to the front bumper, I have been to a couple of services where they asked me to replace front bumper + bonnet + headlight.

Headlight has a scratch, it will get sorted with a quality polish, it does not affect it's use.

The bonnet has a small dent, that should be easy to fix, or I could just leave it like this at this point.

The bumper has the major issues, I was looking here to find a replacement for it but difficult.

 

PS: there is no other damage to the car, had it checked in 2 places now and they confirmed it is ok.

 

Anyone knows a bumper for sale? On Ebay I only found MK3 or MK2 that are in worse condition than mine.

That would be around 45 GBP without shipping (I haven't miscalculated), no description written though ... but, you can use allegro by the item keywords to try and find the bumper for the car

Found some in good condition and cheap back home in Romania.

Was hoping to find it in the UK, but I guess I will buy it from wherever I can, as long as I get it sorted.

Seems to be around 80 pounds for it. I just need to make sure that it fits my car, wasn't sure which model I have but I guess it is MK2 Facelift .

Had the bumper kind of fixed, at least the big crack...The garage where I took it told me that they will take it off to fix it and also check for other damage to the front part of the car.

They didn't do that, bumper was fixed and painted on the car so they didn't check it as they said.

Noticed that the right headlight is pushed on the inside, maybe an ear broken or something. Also, the plastic cover under the hood seems off .

And if you sit in front of it you can tell that there's something wrong by looking at the space on both sides of the bonnet.

Hope to get it fixed soon...might have to turn towards insurance to do that

Anyone can tell me how much would the headlight is going to cost me? I've seen that the Hella ones go for over 400 pounds...scary

 

Not had time to look into this for a while, busy with work and pregnant wife.

 

Would an Estate bumper and headlight fit my Sedan? Looking to get this issue sorted as I'll be going on a holiday soon and I'd like to have this done and a friend of mine has the front bumper and headlights from his Estate as he knew that I had issues with mine.

 

Also, can I get the front bumper with parking sensors as the original one doesn't have them? I guess I need them connected and check if Navi is compatible as well.
