ELECTRIC WINDOWS (AGAIN)

Featured Replies

Both sides stopped working today. I've learnt from this brilliant forum that it's probably the regulator in the o/s door. But before I start spending money and drilling out rivets to remove the carrier, etc. I was wondering, if luck was on my side, are there any quick fixes I should look for first.

Also, advice on where to buy a regulator would be much appreciated. Thanks very much.

Window motor module is accessible with just door card removal, isn't it? No unrivetting required?

Sorry, I meant motor/control module, not regulator  (it's a good job that Wino knew what I meant!)

You should definitely check it's not a blown fuse before you start tearing the door card off.

^ Good tip.

Also check for broken wires in the door bellows.
