SuperSkoda VRS boot mat

Featured Replies

Hi all,

my rubber boot mat (has vrs logo) that I bought from superskoda for my VRS estate is being a pain, it came rolled up and it’s still curling up at the ends when fitted.

Did anyone else’s do this and how did you manage to stop it? I’m thinking I’ll just leave it out in the sun when we have a nice warm day?

I got a hair dryer on it for about 20 mins. Did the trick and lies flat

Roll it the opposite way?

Or put it in the car upside down for a few days......

I’ve tried rolling it back, placing weights on it, folding the edge the opposite way etc, the bugger still springs back up at the end as it was very tightly rolled in its packaging.

The sun is out today I’ll leave it out to soften and relax the rubber.

Thanks for the replies.

What in Yorkshire ?

August is a long wait with a curly boot mat !!!

sorted!

15 mins with a heat gun. turn the mat upside down and heat it till you visibly see it flatten out. The rubber/plastic seems to have some kid of heat memory.
