My19 starts week 22, i.e. next week

If the facelift is as above, i.e. so minor that you hardly notice I think they will likely slip it in sometime in my19. No one will notice......:sleepy:

MY19 is wk 31 or 32 this year - was wk 22 in previous years

Ooooh I wonder which shade of grey they will remove and which new shade of grey they will introduce.  Simply Boring.

  • I bet "dull grey" will be replaced with "boring grey"

Wonder why you ever swapped your Allegro to a modern Skoda?!

I sometimes wonder why I bother coming on this forum.

So do I. If you at least could contribute with some positive and less sceptical comments... That would be much appreciated.

Because I thought this was an open forum where all opinions are welcome, not just fan boys.

I have had 5 skodas and many other vw group cars and I have recently had more costly problems with them than older models.

Please keep your snide digs to yourself

Was it yesterday you complained about the different terms Skoda uses for assistant systems, and stayed sceptical even though it was explained?

Smile, be open minded and enjoy your cars. It’s still a bargain, a beautiful motor and good value - at least with our taxes over here. All car has faults, but in here it sounds more like you (in general) have crappy dealers and Skoda UK being even worse - can’t really blame it on the cars.

My old Superb had a few little things that was sorted under warranty, but that did not make it a bad car. At least, that’s my opinion.

Looks bulky to me - lost some of the sportiness of the current model.

Optical illusion, its on tiny green line tyres. Only difference I can see is front bumper.

Has that bulky Saab rear look imho

Some sort of a brake test going on, loads of equipment in the boot linked to the wheels somehow. Automatic braking? AI braking?

Those are brake torque transducers.  It's fully loaded with water filled dummies in the back seats.  Extreme brake testing in the mountains for sure.

Yup, 'Bremsprobe' = 'Brake test' auf Deutsch. Nice of them to let other motorists know.

Not quite sue about the new front bumper design.

And not sure why the red car would be following so close, considering...

Skoda / VW Group need to be getting on with their Hybrid & EV testing obviously, Skoda have only a couple of years until supposedly they will have 19 new models, or facelifts, trim levels or however they spin it.

It was all going so well then VW Group pith off suppliers, Governments and others,,,  Spend more on advertising and spin than on actual R&D.

Is that a Skoda brake checking a BMW?

Front looks definitely different.

Photographs of the final vehicles that will be on sale would be good rather than 'photoshop images' and some pictures of cars with the front disguise pieces fitted.

u mean to say the front bumper has had a facelift......

most likely with a butt-lift thrown in too.

no changes to any other exterior body panels.

I've just had my SEL 280 build week provisionally confirmed as week 37.

It's also been confirmed that it will be a 272 not a 280 as reported by you kind and knowledgeable lot!

Hopefully see it in October some time
