Christ that’s bad, did some debris fall off the truck?

Tipper trucks are the worst. One left some pretty bad gouges in my paintwork and cracked my windscreen last year from stuff falling off it. Feel your pain! :crying:

Nah, low loaders with Tracked Machines on are the worst - dirty beds and debris in the Machine tracks and undercarriage. Had 2 windscreens replaced previously because of this.

Neither were heated, one was Mk5 GTi and other was work Vectra. GTi was VW branded Pilkington I think

Lucky it wasn't the screen...when the Nenagh bypass was being built, (for the Irish contingent on here ) I was in a Pug 307 and minding my own business, doing 40mph through the roadworks. A big ruddy 16 wheeler passed me in the opposite direction, (probably also only doing 40 thankfully) and deposited a piece of 75mm hardcore through my screen!

The glass layer on the inside actually broke as well and showered me - the laminate between the layers only just held the stone.

That was a trouser-browner if ever there was one...
