Intrestingly my actual time is slightly quicker, 0-60 I got at Elvington was 6.63 and my 1/4 mile was 14.84. But here's what it should be according to the calculator:

Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 195

Weight without Driver (KG) : 1315

Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 150.67

0 - 60 (Secs) : 7.12

0 - 100 (Secs) : 18.68

60 - 100 (Secs) : 11.56

Quarter Mile (Secs) : 15.53

Terminal Speed (MPH) : 91.15

Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 15.33

Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 92.72

I wonder if thats made for petrols? Says I could do a 14.5. Not sure thats the case?

Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 767

Weight without Driver (KG) : 600

Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 1298.86

0 - 60 (Secs) : 2.68

0 - 100 (Secs) : 5.05

60 - 100 (Secs) : 2.37

Quarter Mile (Secs) : 10.39

Terminal Speed (MPH) : 145.89

Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 10.29

Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 147.55

Quite happy with my results.

Didnt know that ur Skoda had a Bugatti engine inside :D

If my cars that slow, I'll eat my own head... :)

I don't think it takes into account torque... assuming it's for pertrol cars!

Chris

I can't remember what Reffro was doing in his standard vRS at the pod - Think he pulled out a time below 17 seconds. Not bad at all. :)

according to that i should be able to do about a 5.9 0-60 and a 14.7 1/4

i wish.

my planned future gives a 3.87 0-60 and a 12.47 1/4 :D

it should be able to get the late 16's I think it was podwins SWSBO that put some really good times in a standard vrs, which was not close of mine! But then I'm not a fast driver :o

Not far out. Best o-60 on a gtech performance meter is 6.7, my pod time, in a stripped car was 15.4, terminal speed of 89 mph.

I'm impressed

Yeah, don't forget it doesnt give you a torque figure either. Plus it cannot understand gear changes etc. What is the actual weight for a Skoda Fabia vRS. 1315, isn't that what the manual says with 3 passengers and driver?

Mine was not far off yours [which makes sense :)]. 6.6 0-60 and 15.2, but with full interior ? ?

Were you running leather at that point ?

Yeah, don't forget it doesnt give you a torque figure either.

It's just a simple calc using power to weight with a few tweaks.

Torque is derived from power anyway (power =torque x speed)

Roughly,

Acceleration = Torque / mass.

Mine at York with a Dragon Box fitted was 15.9sec!!! Can't remember the rest but it's in my Sig!Oh Yeah 87mph :)
