Thought id share results of a my attempts to restore my leather bolsters on drivers seat to some kind of former glory.

very impressed with results. No protection on top yet - taped off unaffected areas best I could.

Looks good. Nice job.

 

But... in the last Superb I had with leather seats, I'm sure the bolsters were a faux leather. It was only the area where your bum and back sit that was real hide. I concluded that when it went like your 'before' picture. 

Looks good.

 

You can also use the Clarks Black Schumagic Renovating Polish - the stuff used to cover up scuffs on kid’s school shoes - perfect colour match, high die content, costs £3 and available across all UK high streets / outlet centres.
