Hi all. 

 

I have an issues with with my car and wish to be armed with plenty of information prior to attending Skoda next week. 

 

My my problem is the air conditioning does not get cold and the conndeser fan does not kick in when ac pressed. 

 

Can anyone advise which fuse is for the ac for the fan - under the bonnet or behind glovebox. 

 

So i can eliminate  the fuse.

He is the fuse layout from the manual. I'd check all fuses that have something to do with AC and the radiator fans for starters.

 

Anyone local to you with VCDS to scan for low AC gas pressure or at least check the measuring blocks to see if the compressor is kicking in and building pressure?

I took the car to Air Con recommended garage to me and had the gas weighed - not down and in order.

 

No leaks either.

 

Appears the fan doesnt start - just got to get to the bottom of why.

 

 

This thread may be relevant, I wonder if @Ollyk has any info he wants to share about how the PWM control circuits work? He had the opposite problem, fan not stopping, but seems to have dug down to learn about the way the system works.
