Hi all,

 

My wife and I own a Skoda Felicia, 1997.

 

It is bottle green, with a cassette player and without power steering.  We recently celebrated the car's 1000k millage and are confident it will do it all again.

 

We use the car primarily used for country/off-road driving as quite frankly it feels like driving a tank.  The original Skoda metallic dark green colour also means it blends well with English countryside so can easily camouflage itself against predators e.g. other roads users.

 

It does not blend so well in any modern parking area and when observed nestled amongst the bloated, bulging beasts that people seem to buy these days, it looks ridiculous and slightly surreal. We couldn't be happier about this.

 

Although it's reliability is generally a constant source of pride, our Skoda has had a couple of issues recently hence our discovery of this site. We feel it's time to stop skulking in the shadows and introduce ourselves and our car.

 

So here we are.
