Retrofit Xenon Headlights

Featured Replies

hi all just wondering is it possible to retrofit the xenon headlight on a car with standard halogens ? anyone done this . any idea of the cost ?

ive had xenons on my last few cars and i am finding the light quite noticeably poor going back to halogens so if it could be done id be tempted getting the xenons retrofitted

I think it’s ‘cost prohibitive’. The units are circa £375 each but that doesn’t include the ballasts and bulbs. There’s also sensors and ancillaries required for self levelling.

Not sure what wiring/loom/connector changes are required, if any.

I think you’re looking at just over £1k for the parts bill alone. Unless you get lucky at a salvage yard.
