Abs tyre pressure and traction lights on after caliper replacement

Featured Replies

I just changed my rear left caliper on my Octavia vrs 2007 model no problem there, but my dashboard has light up like a Christmas tree. ABS tires pressure and traction lights have come on.

I had them on before and had to get a new wheel bearing put in that fixed the problem. I know it cant be the sensor because that's new and on the other wheel. Is there a way i can reset the warning light myself or do i have to hook it up to a diagnostic tool to get it reset? Any ad.vice gratefully accepted

You need some kind of diagnostic tool to find out exactly what the fault is. It might not be related to the work you've done or previous issues...

Ok thanks langers2k

Those warnings are all down to problems with ABS signal missing. Did you unplug the ABS sensor or damage the lead to the hub? Did you remove or loosen the wheel hub?

You say the sensor is on the other wheel, there are sensors on all 4 wheels.
