Expensive for what they are, but they do the job ,fit well and stayed put over 7 years of use on two cars.

Just the job thanks I ordered one that looks identical from eBay free post £28

Superskoda do a stainless steel one for the Scout, which does for me.

Only thing is, I got a roll of VHB foam tape to form a water-tight seal around the edges, as if any water gets in you may find the adhesive foam strips that it comes with start to lift away from the plastic, so if you can keep the water out then all the better.

I had the issue with the adhesive strips on the superskoda bumper protector coming away from the bumper. I've since had to remove it. Would the VHB tape you linked to be suitable to adhere the protector to the bumper again?

Not the cheapest but then I'm a believer of getting what you pay for.

The Milotec bumper protectors match the aluminium look trim on the Scout perfectly...

I used 19mm wide by 1.5mm thick, and got the VHB wipes also to prepare the guard and the bumper. (The width isn't critical, but the 1.5mm thickness matched what was already fitted).

I augmented the foam strips already fitted to the guard so as to make a watertight edge, then added some cross strips at regular intervals.

Be warned however... with so much sticky strip on the guard it's a definite one shot take when you come to marry it to the bumper.

I was slightly off on one side, so a few taps with a rubber mallet pushed the slight overhang tight up against the plastic bumper - otherwise any overhang  has a cheese grater effect on the flesh if the edge isn't tight to the plastic.

Must confess to having gone for the matching interior...

That looks almost exactly the same as the SuperSkoda one.

I can't vouch for the Superskoda one, but I'm on my second Milotec one and can vouch for their quality, and importantly the strength to the 3M tape they use.

This is a Milotec one on our 2008 MkII Octavia Scout. It survived several hot summers and harsh winters, plus automated car washes, my jet washing, two kids and my attempt at reversing into the house...

I've just fitted one to our Kodiaq...
