If they came off a mk5 Golf then I'd say no, it's the mk4 platform that fits the Fabia's.

You may be able to fit them, I must say they look absolutely hideous, I would repaint them green to try and hide the GTI markings and make them look more like Skoda brakes.

It won't take long for you to figure out if they'll fit or not once you've jacked up the car and whipped a wheel off, I assume you're trying to fit them to a VRS with existing 288mm discs.

5x112 rather than 5x100, I think on the discs?

That's true, although he could buy a fresh pair of discs in the right size with some new pads if the carriers fit and the calipers clear the inside of the wheel rim.

In fact he really should buy new discs and pads anyway, it's not a 'pikey' mod really.

I got told they was 5x100 but i dont know the pads are pretty much brand new and the disks aernt too bad. I would have no idea how to fit brakes to my car ill leave it to the pros but thanks for your help guys

They are MK5 brakes I got given a full set to refurbish and sell and they are different, I’ve fitted 312mm to my fabia from a MK1 Audi TT they definitely fit and are much better than the standard 288mm setup especially with brembo discs and pads

Thanks are these definately not gunna fit then?

No, I don’t think so I think mk5 carrier holes are placed slightly differently so you won’t be able to bolt them the hub! As I said go for 312mm brakes from a Mk1 Audi TT , MK 4 Golf Gti or a MK1 Octavia VRS
