Wheel bolts

Featured Replies

Currently Fabia 1.4 Classic on steelies with trims, I've got a set of vRS alloys but can I use the stock wheel bolts or do you need different ones for the alloys ?

They are the same according to the parts listing I just looked at for a 2003 model. Not sure what year yours is though?

2001, so hopefully I can use the originals

Stock should fit

Torque is 120NM, NOT as a lot of tyre places say 120 lb/ft.

That's why I mentioned it- I've had one place get their NM & LB/FT mixed up.

I seem to remember that it's 110NM, happy to be corrected but you don't want to overtighten because the alloy can stretch then the bolt doesn't seat properly any more.

120Nm is correct. @VWD, that 12Nm is an unfortunate typo, can you not edit/correct it?

Always done mine to 120nm as instructed by Mr Haynes

YEP- typo -it's 120 .Unfortunately not ,Wino, UNLESS some kind mod steps in and corrects it ( with my full permission) in interests of accuracy. In interests of accuracy, I've reported my own post and asked for mod ammendment.
