So car went to dealer for the service interval to be changed to variable. Whilst there they said a few campaigns were needing update. Software I presumed.

 

Anyway , week later going to park the car outside the Coop ( getting some beers for the game) The radio went full blast , and the centre display ( on instrument binnacle) said something like SOS blah blah ( cant remember the rest of the text) The radio woundt turn off. So I turned off engine , stepped out of car and locked it ( btw Aqua's song Dr Jones was blasting to my embarrassment) Radio still blaring. Opened car and restarted engine , again centre display say something on SOS , radio continued to blare , wouldn't shut off.

 

Stopped the car and re-started and it all stopped.

 

No idea why this could happen other than the software update ****ed up somewhere..

I think that your Superb is just a big fan of Aqua. Might not be the best music IMHO but I am raised up to respect others choices so ....

I believe that you should give your dealer a ring on monday morning and ask them is there any way they could reprogram your Superb's taste of music. 

 

If only we could reprogram our childrens music tastes .....

Phone the dealer and ask them to carry out TPI 20180714 and that should ensure you get Barbie Girl instead.

honestly though, sounds like a bug in the software.

 

Dr Jones is an awesome track lol ! It's on one of my SD Cards along with Aquas Greatest Hits.... I don't care what other people think about my music taste.

 

If I want to play Dr Jones loud with the windows down I will.... Juat as I would also play Bach, Anthrax, Iron Maiden, Tangerine Dream, Toy Dolls, Sex Pistols or anything else that takes my fancy... Much to the embarassement of my 12 year old :-D

 

 

I must admit to dropping the windows with I will survive on, when driving just for humour value.

 

 

Did I start a thread on music tastes. The wee burd from Aqua was a stunner and still looks good today.
