Clutch pedel

Featured Replies

I'm in Berlin for a tournament and while doing a 3point turn in the campsite I heard a pop and the clutch dropped to the floor. I can pull it back and it springs to where it should be but when I press it it springs to the floor. Any ideas?

Eamonn, does it spring to the floor or simply go there with no resistance, and then you have to return the pedal with your toe?

It sounds like my problem last week, which means one (or both in my case) of the clutch cylinders (master or slave) have failed.

As stated it could be either master/slave cylinder that has a leaking seal.

However you did hear a pop, hopefully some internal clutch component hasn't broken.

I wouldn't discount perished hose so have a good look down there with a torch for signs of a leak.

Removing the airbox will give you good access.
