XDS Settings

Featured Replies

I enabled XDS on another members Superb earlier this year but he has found the 'Standard' setting too invasive.

The options on VCDS if I remember correctly are Standard, Weak, Medium and Strong (and Not Activated).

Weak and Strong are self explanatary but is Medium stronger than Standard or weaker?

Could you post the steps to enable XDS on Superb using VCDS ? Is some specific ABS/ESC controller H/w required ?

Thanks

Only certain abs units support it.

Posting a full autoscan from vcds is a good starting point!

Here's the info on my ABS controller.  Need to dig out full scan later.

No fault code found.

Liger would have activated/tweaked it on a MK2. You look to have a MK3 which has a completely different ABS pump with a much longer lcode.

Unfortunately, I'm also more familiar with enabling it on older MK60EC1 pump, you might want to search for MQB xds activation :)

Thanks for clarifying. Will search for MQB XDS activation ...
