Sounds like you snagged the best one @Jimbo_Jet good work lol

Hopefully some more have come in to the country. Ask your dealer and good luck. FAB CAR

@ExSEAT yep as jimbo mentions a lot of the sportlines are decent spec.  When i looked quite a few had heated seats.  The sportline isnt too bad on spec. Front and rear sensors, folding mirrors, columbus satnav android auto apple carplay all standard. Id have liked the heated windscreen and a few more of the assist systems but beggars cant be chosers all the time lol. Rear camera is useful as the car is big!  Although having front and rear sensors as standard would suffice.

They do a sportline plus spec now which adds more ontop of the standard sportline trim.

Yesterday, it occurred to me that you can order a heated steering wheel – but not a refrigerated one!

Well it looks like it wasn't to be. The dealer found me a range of 220 sportlines (11 of them to be exact) I didn't get individual ages but they were up to 12 months old ranging from 1500 to 9000 miles. All in black or grey with very little in the way of extra specification (most notable was Park assist, other than that it was a tow bar or a spare weel) and the worst bit they were all within around £1800 of the price I was offered as a factory order when I enquired. So that's me back on the merry go round of what car to buy! Looks increasingly like it won't be a skoda unless there's some pleasant surprises come October.

Thanks to all you Superb owners for the info and support.

All the best

Peter

Thats a shame. Hope something does pop up as the superb is an excellent car.  Good luck in your search!
