Now dtd are only

I've just about order mine from my local dealer after a fair bit of haggling. Autofinders came in at 11,275 and drivethedeal at 11,366 for a standard black magic vrs. Managed to get dealer down to

Got a car on order at the moment, ordered through DtD and was contacted by main Skoda dealer a couple of days later. Deposit payed to dealer, dealer ordered car, will collect car from dealer. Other dealers also mentioned broker horor stories and how the car would have previous owners etc but assured by dealer this is not the case. A bit of research also turned up a few satisfied owners on here as well.

Dtd don't sell you your car, the dealer does. All they do is place an order with the dealer on your behalf.

Autofinders -

:rofl::thumbup: :thumbup: autofinders too:thumbup: :thumbup::D

Well, just ordered my new silver VRs, with ESP, side bags, cruise, and heated seats.

Got the price within 250 of dtd, and I'm happier to deal with the dealer from the get - go.:D

Telfords in Carlisle, in case anyone's wondering.

Now for the wait.:)

Must have been desperate to meet a sales quota then or did you take a gun:D , this dealer wouldn't come within £400 of Dtd when I tried :thumbdwn: despite having had 3 cars off them in the past + servicing. Still looking forward to a new relationship with Dtd dealer who is not that far away:thumbup: , and will now probably end up with mine and the wifes servicing business as well if they live up to the reviews they get on here, particularly in lite of this thread  and other minor niggles that had otherwise been forgot.:P

(Bitter and Twisted, like a sour Lemon on a pint of OP  )

Got mine from the dealers in Preston as it was 'on offer' didn't plan to buy one or anything just saw it and got it!

Woodheads, the blackpool dealer, were a bit upset! we got my mums fabbie from them in 2000....

Have to say, wasn't all that impressed with Riding & Co in Preston, as they turned out my car like a bag of ****. wasn't valeted properly, had a wheel nut missing and had way too much oil in it! had to get woodheads to sort it out!

I bought mine from there & I am thoroughly impressed !

They offered me a good price & p/ex for a new vRS ' date=' but actually sold me a 2nd hand modified one with full warranty, at nearly a grand off screen price !

Even the techie bloke has a sense of humour, when he explained to me how to work the radio, he suggested I would have been better off reading the manual, but showed me anyway, whilst stood in the rain ![/quote']

Was quite happy, and didn't expect them to meet dtd price, but to find out they did on another day is a little miffing especially with regard to the amount of cash I have spent there in past. :o and thought we had a reasonable relationship, little like finding bird kissing best mate:rofl: but as mentioned business is business so don't realy blame them + I had no p/x for them to sc"ew me on. Only fair tho to take new car that came with discount to supplieing dealer if conveniant and no dearer? and work carried out up to snuff.

I bought my furbie off Virgin Car

A bit of a nightmare

But was cheaper than my local dealer(slaters of abergele)

11200 on the road (Virgin cars)

12500 on the road(slaters)

Slaters service the car now due to virgins after sales super care team

Telling me to take the car to a local dealer if i get any problems:finger:

Vigin Car has gone tits up anyway

but

In future having the contact with a local dealer is better than some call center

Wonder what id of got if i did have a gun??

About 4 years lol
