Who mentioned anything about going in feet first?  I thought it's pretty obvious you approach the seller first,  but if it's the case they refuse  ( which is a strong possibility ) then the above is saying you have rights on your side.

 

If the warranty doesn't cover it and the dealer says he won't fix the car - what would you do?

 

 

If just replace BOTH top mounts with the cheapest spurious non ****e ones I could find,but then I am a mechanic.

I wouldn't even consider trying a warranty claim for this,

RE feet first approach I merely suggested if one were to try the polite approach is the way forward rather than the alternative.

Perhaps I need to refine my language/punctuation skils?
