Had to replace oil and clean mesh filter few months back - after ~20k miles:

 

 

But looks like I need to do it again - after only 8.6k miles ?!?! 

 

Anyone have any idea why oil/filter could get dirty/clogged again so quickly ? 

Why do you think it is actually the oil/filter issue? What does the VCDS scan say? What are the exact symptoms?

The same as before - spinning front wheels like there is no 4x4 - even on 2nd gear. 

 

Will get VCDS scan on Tuesday morning, to check how Haldex pump is performing - and then straight on the lift - already booked at friendly garage - NOT Skoda service of course

So here is an update

 

They scanned it - and got some "intermittent" errors for the pump - problem with the pump's motor - ups, £250ish new one :(

 

But they also suggested that there can be a simple problem with just stuck carbon brushes.

 

So they lifted the car - and gently tapped the motor with a spanner - bingo, started spinning

 

So they took motor apart - few screws on the housing - no need to drain oil - cleaned it and after 30 minutes - I was back on the road
