Is this an official head unit?

Featured Replies

I'm going to look at this Rapid Spaceback on Saturday and everything about it seems ideal. I just wanted to check the head unit/navigation system is OEM.

It's a 15 plate Greentech SE Tech Spaceback.

Appreciate the feedback.

Yep. Thats VW's RNS315, called Amundsen+ in a Skoda.  I had this in a 2014, came with Bluetooth, DAB, Voice control. All good apart from the lack of customisation options -  had to put speed cameras on my phone instead.

The update to the car which changed this was mid 2015, so it looks correct to me for this vehicle.

Thanks a lot. Did a test drive today and everything seemed good so picking it up next week. Going from a C-Max to a Spaceback doesn’t seem like too much of a jump, although it’s my first Skoda. :)

Yes that's what we've got in our 15 plate spaceback. Still not got round to updating or satnav as it's not been done from new. Skoda wanted £200 for the SD card to update but you can get them off eBay for about £30
