That’s interesting to hear, I wonder if that’s still an option as the dealer said even they can’t request a different alloy to what it leaves the factory with?

We had an extended test drive in a Sportline prior to ordering one and whilst the overall ride was very good over the bumps, the road noise from the tyres was quite intrusive. From memory I think the test car was wearing Bridgestone rubber, but other makes may be better of course, or even worse. Anyway, I won't fret as it's the missus's car.

So here's my dirty beast. Managed almost 100 miles from picking it up before a journey to Germany and the snow. Performed awesomely with temperatures down to -14.5c  Just needs a good wash as a Christmas present

Finally picked up the Karoq today despite the weather’s best efforts to thwart me 😆

I didn’t get a photo at the dealership as it was bitter cold to say the least and then by time I got home the car was completely covered road grime and salt so obviously I had to give it a quick wash 🥶😂

Here’s the only photo to date, a less than glamorous shot of it on the drive post-wash in failing light, I’m sure I’ll be spamming this thread with more in the future…

What colour is it? I had Business Grey (which I really liked) last time before I went a little crazy and pressed the BRIGHT COLOUR button on my Karoq order....😆

Its ‘Graphite Grey’ in Škoda speak, slightly darker than ‘Business Grey’ 👍🏻

Very early days but having done around 70 miles so far I’m very impressed, I need to get some centre caps ordered so I can take the cheese graters off the wheels though, can’t say I’m a fan…

 

 

I wasn't going to mention the cheese graters (cruel nickname, but very apt)  now you have said it, I agree with you on that too!

Recently purchased this blue beauty, its a 1.5tsi dsg, four years old, so I'm trying to steer clear of the cambelt thread 😁

That's actually true!! My previous Karoq in Business Grey was often lost in car parks as the suspicious guy went around pressing the fob to try to notice the indicators flashing to pick it out....

 

No such problems now!!! 😆
