yes ive done it and it works perfectly. There are two sizes of camera the pre 2015 has a smaller slot for the boot handle and would need cut if you want to fit the skoda branded camera. you can find all manners of camera kit on ebay/aliexpress

you will need VCDS to make tweaks.
