Briskoda stickers

Featured Replies

I have read various mentions of Briskoda car stickers but can't find any actual info on them on the site. How do you go about getting them and what choice is there?

The old homepage had some details, but that was lost in the changes, I'll do a new post soon with photo's etc etc.

This is an example of the external sticker, one foot wide, which I reckon looks good on the black strip at the top of the windscreen, front or rear I guess, but this one's on the front.

I think (Ian may confirm?) that a much wider selection is now available. and it's well worth putting a 2 foot internal one in the rear screen.

Nice looking sticker. How easy was it to apply? Always a bit worried by stickers that use adhesive rather than the inside type that don't actually have glue.

Exterior one is "sticky"

Interior types are static cling and can be placed \ moved as much as you like.

The exterior one was a little bit tricky, and had to be done in one hit.

I had the rear view mirror as my "centre" mark, and the line of the screen to level it off, but it just had a strip to remove off the top (gluey on reverse) and then I had to lay it slowly where I wanted it, leave it a minute, and gently peel off the backing, leaving the stickers.

In comparison, the rear one was a doddle, just clingy as Ian said, and can be removed and replaced if it goes in a bit wonky first time, which for me luckily it didn't.

are mine in the post ian as the car goes in on friday and the garage wants to see them

Hi Ian, I did drop you a pm about the stickers a few weeks ago - any news? I've been waiting for a couple of months now?

The external ones are in stock again. Better PM him again as he will have forgotten by now :D

I had to put stickers on racing cars and was told the best way is to mix some fairy liquid and water in a spray bottle.

So,

1. Clean the area you want to use

2. Spray the fairy liquid/water, the more you put on the easier to slide around

3. Place sticker on it and slide it into place

4. Use something flat to push the excess water out from under the sticker, with the briskoda stickers you'd get away with using your finger as there small areas

5. Use a hair drier if you having trouble with bubbles

6. If that doesn't work burst the bubble with a pin hole, push out the water and then use the hair drier.
