Mrs G has been complaining about going to the local shop in our village.  It's to far to walk but not far enough to go in the car so I've bought her this.  Might stop her moaning

Really needs a carrier and panniers for the shopping.

And she'll want mudguards, probably a security chain as well, top bag on rack to store the lock, gloves etc, LED lights, viz vest.....

And bicycle trailers (meaning trailers designed to be pulled by bicycles) are a thing...

I had one of those Dahons (Mu Uno single speed) but only lasted 3 years of commuting into/within London as centre folding bracket became very 'fluid' while riding! Very hairy.

 

Ditched it and went with a Brompton (2sp, flat bar) which still going 5 years on, although was much more expensive... 

 

How did Mrs G take it? Probably fine if lightly used and not folded too often.
