Hey, first time asking a question here! Here goes haha! My last fabia and now this one had the same problem: the rubber on the handbrake and steering wheel is perishing badly and sticking to my hands in the morning... anybody have a good fix?

If cleaning with detergent and water or water and lemon does not help, even makes it worse then replace them, 

or replace the car. 

Ick....

Yeah, I'd just replace them with some nice leathered ones, really. Fairly straightforward job.

Cheers for the reply guys, not keen on replacing the car as I’ve had it a week so a cover or new handbrake is the way to go.
