Great that you can finally have a 245 in a nice colour; Race Blue or Rallye Green B)

Looking at the Velvet Red for mine as the "Black Pack" appears to be no longer an option.

It's a shame that I can't get my current car appraised as my RS will be off the road for a week or so after some A-Hole backed into it in the work car park and badly damaged the rear passenger door and wheel arch.

Sorry to hear. What a PIA!

Good luck getting it sorted.

Bit of good news for you, black pack is now standard

Folding wing mirrors ain't but, I'm not going there, after many therapists I'm ALMOST over the additional weeks waiting for my current car !!!

Here we go, lets see what PPF brings with it and if I am seeing correctly in the spec AdBlue in a petrol ? Think ill hang on to my 230 for while longer to see how these pan out.

Maybe put the info into wbac for an idea of the price. I was surprised at what they offered for my 27k 16 plate vRS TDI also try https://www.arnoldclark.com/sell as they offered more!

* not sold to either yet because mine’s in the bodyshop too

Can't see it using adblue as the petrol engine does not have an SCR

Well I went to the dealership today with a dented car and I came back out with an order for a new one.

A 245 in Meteor Gray with:

ACC

DCC

Canton

Kessy

Park Assist

Heated: Windscreen, Washers and Steering Wheel

Virtual Cockpit

Light Assistant

Lifeshine

I wonder how long the wait will be?

Now I need to find someone who knows about electronics to hard wire my Nextbase 612 in when it arrives.

Exactly what i thought, but it's marked as "yes" in the spec of the 19MY VRS 245

Apart from Canton that’s everything on my list

I did my 512GW and it was a piece of pi55. Buy an install kit off eBay and some trim removal tools and it’s an hour tops.

I used the Dashcam install guide on here as a start.

Nice, may I ask how much of an discount you were able to get on this order?

I got a £2500 deposit contribution from Skoda, I'll be adding another £4500 in on top of that later (already paid £500 deposit to start the process), I'll get an increase in FGV if I keep the mileage down and the new car is early in arriving. I want to put some more money in but I was told that I could only put 30% in as a maximum (why not 33.3% I don't know).

I also got a £1800 discount from the dealer as well.

I have signed a 4 year agreement this time but intend to overpay to reduce the cost of the contract, the PCP is 5.4% (0% not available) and on a 12k miles per annum contract which is a slight increase in mileage this time because depending on what happens at work, I may be transferring from my current location back to Portsmouth again, which is a 100 mile (round) commute each time.

I hardwired my Nextbase using a genuine Nextbase kit off Amazon.  It was surprisingly easy, even for a luddite like me.  The guide on here was useful, as was a youtube video I found showing the process.

Nice one, so what is this per month approx? 250£?

I wish. The monthly payment will be £361.

I hope to be able to reduce the cost by doing an extra overpayment when finances allow.

Nice cars aren't cheap

I'm sure you'll love it

7.5k deposit and still £360 a month? Is that because the extras are paid off in full during the PCP? I'm on 0% on my 2016 vrs with a small deposit over 42 months and I pay 300.02 a month. At that rate I might just be able to plump for a citigo next.

I don't know, it does seem a bit strange and steep, but it is what it is.

I'm waiting to see what tyres they are putting on it, if they're Pirelli then they'll be coming straight off and to be replaced by some Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3's ASAP.

Lots of extras there, youve been very good to yourself!!

Good on you mate, we spend too much time thinking and not enough doing. Ive had a hell of a year this year, 3 deaths in the family, no holiday,  worked my arse off to pay for our wedding and I still sit and look at the configurator and think 'can I stretch to 300 quid for a heated screen?' Lifes far too short. Hope your wait isnt too long!
