L&K seats

Featured Replies

Are the seats in the L&K, the bit you sit on, leather? I can see that the side bits, the head rests and the back of the seats are synthetic but the bit you sit on and where you rest your back is not easy to identify but then artificial leather is so good these days. If its synthetic I can stop putting leather soap on.

I struggle to tell with mine. For that reason I use a car leather seat cleaner (Autoglym in my case) as it's guaranteed safe on the real, possibly real and definitely not so real leather bits.

From memory Skoda say the seat base and back are real leather.

I'm sure it is leather also using Autoglym cleaner and leather cream does a good job all round.

Forgot to say my seats are cream so have to look after the seats regularly, not one of the best choices but look great in the cars rosso red met paint.

Thanks guys, and yes I use Autoglym leather cream as well and it does seem to soften them, the reason for asking is that leather does need a cream as otherwise it goes dry and cracks.

Yes it is leather - bum and back.

Synthetic material cannot be perforated as there is insufficient strength in the fibres, which is why ventilated seats are only available with leather and not (synthetic) Alcantara.
