NB: some of you may be cunning enough to look at other pics in the album. Please do NOT display them in this thread, or anywhere else. Thanks. ;)

Hmmm..... lots of lovely salt on those wheels - just what you need ;)

I washed them later on. Plus I wasn't wheelspinning or anything silly so not spreading it around. Same can't be said for the donut'ing F150 pickup. :D

very nice dude

Nice pics.

Southport beach use to be fun in the clio ;)

Yeah - one of those. :) He was donutting on the sand which was a bit stupid given it was a public beach. The Police came down and took him down wrestling style, when he tried to dive off one jumped through his window, the other from the driver's side, and they arrested him. Not sure what for though.

Some other nice pics of your car in the photobucket album, I can see why you dont want them posted here.

The owner wanted it back??!!

 I suspect it was the donut'ing. He kept doing it even when two patrol cars and 4 coppers were watching from the ramp up to the road. Muppet.

It was probably work's truck. ;)

Nice car, certainly sounds loud and the smoke out the back is like some sort of afterburner is about too light. Mate of mine saw it down the dyno the other day and said it was one of the best there. Apparently the Scooby guy was a tad upset his

With the torque curve you've got I imagine up a hill nothing short of an Audi Estate towing a motorcycle would come past.......

Thats about right.... You weren't driving that Audi were you?

Hmmmmmm maybe. There was a Vr6 just behind as well. I had to follow as was quite intrigued by the amount fo smoke that came out the back when you went past the first set of cars. Could'nt go too fast though, not with loads of gear and a trailer. Strangley a chap in work mentioned your car for it's fame at filling up AJ's dyno room with smoke, and it's pretty impressive torque curve. Looks like good fun. He's got a 500hp MK2 Escort and was down there that day, but without car.

Well, all I can say is its a bloody small world when an Audi you have a play with on the A38 appears on the forum.

By the way, you remember pulling out on the road down to Yealmpton? That was me that suddenly appeared out of nowhere with my lights on - not sure if you knew or not. :D Somehow my sat-nav decided to take me off at Lee Mill and double back on myself. You obviously knew the roads better than me, being a yokel. ;) I was just there to get myself some trackday alloys. :D

Oh, and also just wanted to say I was only doing 75mph when I came past you again on the A38 after the Tamar Bridge [looks around shiftily]

Edit: That Mk2 escort blokes name wasn't Andy was it? ;) Had a chat with him and saw his dyno - Awesome!

Yep and Yep. Was half way out when you came round corner. Did'nt realise it was you, just thought I'd got caught out and was gettin in some poor buggers way.....bit like the days racing I'd just finished.

Could'nt be a lot more Yokel really, live less than five miles from that junction.

Andy works for a company doing some Engineering where I work, I've seen the dyno and pics of his car, pretty impressive.

Could'nt miss the link to this place on the back of your car so just logged in too have a look really. Saw a Devon car and did'nt think there could be many like yours. Just funny how I happened to mention it too Andy and he knew your car and plate straight off. Obviously I don't normally remember plates but yours is pretty distinctive.

I thought you were only doing 75mph as due to my towing I obviously was only doing erm, uhh, 70 or is it 60......

Certainly a small world, hope the alloys worked out and keep up the work with the car, could be the start of a few more diesel convertees.:D :D

Oh, the alloys worked out mighty fine. :D

Surely you must only have been doing about 40 when I went past? ;)

Still, small world.

Found another pic from the day

Nice pics Jase, I really cannot wait until May  I've nearly let the cat out of the bag so many times  I'm useless at surprises

How do you get down onto the beach in Newquay??? is it from the town centre or is there a more convoluted route?

Not that I'm gonna try there, but I will be looking for an interesting photo shoot location in Devon the day I get mine!! maybe up on the moors somewhere. I have Berry Pomeroy castle near Totnes in mind if the gates are unlocked!! Spooky.....

Its Porth Beach in Newquay (or just outside the town to be honest) There's a ramp down to the beach, so its pretty easy to get down. Not sure if we had a legal right to go on the beach, but what the hell. :D

Around Exeter I'm not sure where to suggest - Exmouth provides some nice scenery. Dartmoor too, especially the road from Moretonhampstead to Princetown.

I thought it was Porth - last time I was there I noticed a very cute blonde who works in the chip shop on the other side of the road to the beach. Probably not there now though :(

Well, I got cheesy chips while down there and she's metamorphasised into a mid 50s grey haired woman, sorry dude. :(

Perhaps she was just on a summer job then :(

For being a complete to$$er.

For being a complete to$$er.

 I agree. :D But sadly thats not a law of the land. :(

I thought perhaps it was something like antisocial behaviour, or endangerment of the general public? As it was on a beach, not the open road, I wasn't sure if dangerous driving rules applied, like they would in a car-park. :)

Either way, they took him down hard and was mildly fascinating to watch.
