Easy entry

Featured Replies

Do the memory seats have an easy entry option and if so how do you enable it?

finally got the seat to hold a set memory position but it stays put when I open the door. My ****ty old insignia had easy entry, surely the Superb has it, but can’t find any visible option to turn it on or off in the Columbus encyclopaedia of a billion settings options.

Not seen this myself. Could be wrong but I’m not sure it’s available.

Kodiaq seems to have it

Don’t think it’s available on the SIII. A clumsy workaround is to use two memories, one to allow easy access and one to drive. I know a colleague who did this.

yes, there is easy entry coding available for the Superb - i'll see if I can find it, and post it here.

drivers seat moves back and down when the door is opened, either to get in or out.

My old Insignia also had it - to be honest, though, I never used it - I was paranoid I'd drain the battery.  Never looked on the Superb and don't really miss it.

At least for MY18 and before this is an option that has to be programmed with VCDS or OBD11. I did mine with OBD11 and it works lika a charm :)

Mine’s an my18 so that’s positive.

Is there an option to turn it off/on when programmed without the OBD?

I have a 67 plate sportline i have enabled this with obd eleven. Very easy, went into drivers seat control unit and under easy entry just select it to "enable"

As my seat is all the way back and pretty much all the way down I have this option by default!!!!

Not if you have personalisation selected.

I had to turn off personalisation, as the seat was moving forward and upwards every time I unlocked the car. It would not let me store the seat position fully back and down.

Also annoying for backseat passengers. Might not be a problem in the huge superb but other cars certainly

Have to remember settings and features arent for everyone. One person can hate it and another love it. Each to their own.  Personally i have this feature enabled and like it.

I have enabled it through VCDS but it didn’t work?? I tried locking and unlocking the car, opened the door and started the engine couple of times...and nothing happened. Is there something I am missing?

You may also have to turn it on in settings menu.

No it doesnt appear in infotainment screen. Once activated it just works.

Then why it does not work on mine? MY18 model it is, it has electric seats with memory, in case somebody asks
