Remap or tuning box?

Shark stage 1 in Dec 17, 3 runs of 292/295/297 Bhp and each with over 350lb torque on 3 year old plugs and air filter. It is very smooth and fun to drive with no problems. I avoided the local REVO map quoted at 305-310Bhp as mine isn't a DSG. Clutch is still good although I don't do traffic light grand prix, it has great in-gear pull in all gears and still has excellent economy. It required no extra cost and unless it's for track use, I don't know if the cost of Stage 2-3 is of real benefit.

You're right stage 2 definitely a benefit on track days as it is very funny catching a lightweight track weapon such as a Caterham and then out accelerating them down the straight but then nothing normal about a spacious 5 seater hatchback with a 590 litre boot and 336bhp. Picking up from the Corsa VXR which had improved economy despite my average commute being completed faster (34mph increased to current 39mph) my average has improved from 37mpg to current 41mpg (from 400 miles per tank to 460 miles currently). For me it has been WIN, WIN, WIN and first service due next week at 18,600 miles.:inlove:

I wonder how busy the one in Antartica is.

  • Very busy if they do skidoo remaps.

  • You only know how good a company really is when you have a problem, so from that basis my experience is they failed spectacularly!    There really is no benefit from a tuning box over a rema

This is the second d time I have heard this as well.....so this King the resi system is the way to go.

Wonder is anyone has just removed the centre box on the standard exhaust?

I've done a res delete on mine, I'll PM you a video.

No drone at all, and you can hear quite a pleasant bark when on boost. I certainly wouldn't fork out for an exhaust unless going to stage 2.
