Black exhaust tips are interesting since mine has the lovely chrome ones good choice of body colour though :)

Did you get it from Garland in Aldershot? I've been in once and the sales guy I spoke to asking for some help wasn't that impressed as mine came from Lancaster in Milton Keynes - VWFS are based in MK and they do PDI for VWFS cars he should of course know this already lol

It came with the black exhaust tips, part of the special edition and black pack I believe....and yeah, best colour ha! :D

I did get it from Garland and I deal with Ashley. I believe that he is the most knowledgeable there and a big car enthusiast.

My MY19 245 has the black pack standard but it seems not the full black pack as per your special ed with the black tips.

Red was a no brainer as it was that or white for no cost.. I had a white car once urgggghh never again. I really like the red in any case and it matches my Triumph Speed Triple 1050cc also in Red ;)

What was involved with the lip and skirts? Much drilling?

Red is my fav colour and my last 2 Mercs have been white. It reminds me a lot of my old 2002 LCR, and I have always been a fan of red & black combo. Has a real nice deep shine to it, these pics are in rubbish light and taken just before I posted.

I think the special edition came with the black exhaust tips, 19" wheels, LSD amongst other stuff.

Easy but needs 2 or 3 sets of hands!! Need to remove the front undertray to tighten the bolts and just drill around 15 hols through the splitter and bumper and then use the supplied bolts, took about an hour. The skirts were easy and took about 10mins each side, they come with self drilling bolts and I used 6 across the bottom and then 4 at a slight angle to make sure it was all tight They came with 10 bolts for each side.

Might be trickier on the drive but a good mate runs hos wn body shop so popped on the lift and made life A LOT easier :)

No I don't, more rumourmongering lol ventilated mate, would you like a picture like the exhaust? Why would they skimp on braking with a car with the same power, lsd and dsg 7 speed gearbox?

Very nice. Got any closer photos of the skirts? Interested how it looks where they meet the sill.

They should have come as standard on a vRS!

TBH I've forgotten most what was standard with the mods I've made

Biggest thing for me is the seats, the lumbar support alone was worth the twenty-six hundred quid uplift over the standard vRS price.

Agree seats are fabulously comfy for an OLDIE like me particularly as most of my working days tend to be around 13.5hours long and comfort is a top priority so no lowered stiff springs for me.:inlove:

So little update after my first 2 weeks of ownership of my VRS 245, absolutely love it and honestly cannot find any faults or have any grumbles.

Couple of pics as updates so far, mods as per signature.

Loving all the mods you've done so far and I know you have more planned when funds and SWMBO allow. Keep up the good work. Just have to make it as fast as mine LOL.:D
