Rear bushes photos...

Featured Replies

Hoping you can help - rear bushes may or may not need replacing (two garages have said different things).

ive seen where they are located in my Haynes manual, however this rarely translates to to real thing easily.

are the rear bushes easily accessible, and if so can someone point me in the right direction as to where they actually are.

thanks!

Extremely unlikely since they're solid bushes, what are your symptoms?

Not really sure there’s any symptoms.

one garage said they needed replacing. Got another one to look that said they were worn or weren’t great (can’t remember exact wording).

Then why are you doing the work?

Do you know which "rear bushes" they are meaning, ie rear beam mounting bushes or front lower arm/wishbone rear bushes, I'd think that it is the latter.

If they mean the console bushes, which I think they do, they are shown in the red circles here....

This is a pic of an Octavia but it's very similar. The yellow bushes....

you need to ask the question if its front axle or rear axle//     the front wishbone rear bushes are very common to wear, the rear beam do with high mileage

recommend to change to poly bushes as they will last the lifetime of the car so you wont be doing them again Skoda fabia bushes
