My Superb (Columbus) doesn't like my Sony Xperia XZ1 no CarPlay on Bluetooth or USB, no Mirror Link either. 

 

While in no immediate hurry to change, what mobile (sorry Android household) is currently the most compatible with Columbus equipped Superb? 

 

No desire to troll through all the endless possibilities on the compatibility link

I have been using different Samsung Galaxy series phones and they have all worked without issues (S6/S7/S8). The only issues I have had were the cables which I need to chance in every 6 months or so because they break eventually, not enough that they would not pass data or power to/from a PC or wall charger, but clearly broken enough for the car that seems to be picky when it comes to the connection.

U pick Superb, specify the year bracket, pick Columbus, pick Sony and then choose ur phone model - it will tell u exactly wat will work, and wat won't.

I've had no issues with various HTC, Nexus and Samsung phones when paired with the Columbus, be it via Bluetooth, or via USB (AndroidAuto or MirrorLink).

As mentioned above, if ur using via USB, ensure u have a good data cable, not a charging only cable.

Is it possible to use Waze with the latest iPhones (XR/XS)? They're not even listed on the compatibility site.

I would surprised if you couldn’t, I think it is more dependent on version of iOS.
