My 18 plate superb started with a weird fault this morning. When the ignition is on the internal microphone in the head lining is always on and what it picks up is played softly through the speakers. It is like having a soft echo in the car.

I have tried completely disconnecting my mobile phone to see if it related to that, but the problem remains.

 

Has anyone else experienced this?

I can't remember the exact place but it's (IIRC) enhanced audio which can be turned off in the infotainment system.

What is the enhancement from doing this?

It is so rear passengers can hear you better lol. When u turn the volumn on the infotainment system there is a symbol in the top right hand corner, press that and it will take you to the settings to turn off

Aha! just been out and had a look. Yes that's it!

Must have switched it on by accident :D:D:D
