I understand Makefish had a batch of 20 or so custom stickers made up locally at his expense and was selling on the remainder of his order a @ Weston

Jeez news travels fast, however, I can get hold of some more, but I need to get permission from Colin first before I sell any more, don't want to get in to trouble for breaching any site rules.

What's the actual size of these stickers. A 500mm would look good in the rear screen. Are they Internal or external?? Thanks..Andy

Size is 203mm x 23mm can get either internal or external but the ones I had were internal. Bigger ones can also be sorted, but as said above cant do much until I get permission to do it. Watch this space.

Our current relationship with VinylStore means fairly plain stickers.

From a reading point of view I've yet to see a new sticker design that is actually readable from another car.

As such the original plain text sticker is still the briskoda sticker of my choosing.

*IF* you wish to proceed with these as per logo then please contact me or redbaron( Paul) to discuss as there are issues now which were not so say 12 months ago.

I am happy to get these new stickers made, I've just yet to see one that is worth it, for my money I would go for plain and clear to read every time.

There is also a cost issue involved, not to say a change in our sticker suppliers, also the way we do it; that is somebody sitting at home posting stickers out, visitng the bank for chques etc, please bear this in mind when pushing for somthing new. We only have so many hours in the day we can dedicate to the running of this site, stickers are and maybe wrongly, down the list at present as the current one actually does the job of a car sticker.

Also the b is only being used in certain places, not in the logo, it is a logo, but not the main site one.

Hope that helps, thanks to Makefish for the limited run and those lucky to get them.

Colin, I am happy to do this in an official capacity on behalf of Briskoda if necessary. I am prepared to spend some of my spare time dedicated to the forum but obviously I would need your approval to do so. I have sent a message to the 'webmaster' earlier today and await your response to my proposal however in the meantime I have posted below a couple of piccy's showing the ones I had done. The second picture shows my car with the sticker in the side window and Briskodians would recognise this format almost instantly conversly there is a Vinyl Store 'old' style sticker just under the brakelight which is barely visable so hopefully this may change your mind as to the visibility issue.

I like them

love it: i'll have a couple if you start selling them. my vinylstore one's under the brake light and it's really tricky to see.

will have to remove some of the jabba stickers at this rate, don't want to turn into jason!

I have some too  I think I prefer the old clear style though, although I will be incorporating the new ones on the car somewhere.

At £5 a sticker I also need to see costs for multiples or order sizes, 20 at a time is a seriously wastefull route, IIRC we used to order in 100's before going to the vinyl store.

Bear in mind the old sticker was potentially going to be given away with freedom / and or SAE; I can't justify giving away £5 pound stickers, the price feels to high.

OI! :D I haven't got that many, and most are quite subtle and temporary. :D All South West motor Show advertising will be removed come June anyway.

quite subtle .

Bought a new car?? The last i read subtle meant this

I should also point you in the direction of the word "most" in my post, meaning the majority, all but perhaps one, but definitely not ALL! :D;) :P

I think that one counts as "subtle as a brick" but its good forum advertising, so it's staying for ever and ever.

I could be able to save the day here!

Email John on [email protected] and ask him how much he can do them for you, and tell them it's Rhodri Type R thats asking. The guys a mate who also happends to do all the stickers for scoobys! And a lot of the time he doesn't charge much over cost.

If you raise the cost of Freedom Membership by a few quid and include a sticker, it might encourage more to join. Just a thought!:D

It is hard enough to get people to join at the current rate of
