Skoda Kodiaq best seats

Featured Replies

I know some seats are more expensive than others but which ones are favourite to you?
Or what experience do you have with them?

Full electric & ventilated

After having leather seats in my previous Yetis I was a bit apprehensive of changing to the alcantara seats in my Kodiaq SEL, but I find them much better than leather, not so cold in winter, not so hot in summer and you don’t slide around either. They are also proving to be grandkid resilient and look as new.

Another vote for alcantara here, have it in the Kodiaq, and in my Superb and two previous Octavia's.

The Superb has just hit 160,000 miles and it still looks good.

I concur.

Alcantara every time.

Some reckon leather is easier to keep clean if you have sprogs messing it up, but I’ll take alcantara these days.

I use sturdy Halfrauds seat protectors when using the kiddy seats.

Do you take care of your alcantara seats? Leather seats seems to be easier to take care of.

Not for a minute.

Try to stop anyone eating in the car.  An occasional hoover inside when the mats get dirty.

What’s not to like?

I’ve got the full leather ventilated seats and they’re great. The leather grain felt slightly cheap to me at first (compared to VW nappa) but over time the grain has smoothed out and feels better.

I though VW "Nappa" was fake leather.

My 07 Passat had real nappa leather seats. No idea what they do now to be honest, but here in NZ most of the B8’s come with the Vienna leather and it’s pretty average. Think my Golf R has the same leather as those - not as good as the Kodiaq’s.
