Hey all,

 

ok not had my Fabia long and know it’s got the usual big front brake conversion.

 

im looking to replace both discs and pads. 

 

What Model do I search for? Do I input

say Audi TT 2006? Or what?

Yes, it's very straightforward, all the VAG group vehicles from the 2000's with 312mm front discs will be the same.

Audi TT mk1 225.

 

Make sure the disks are 5x100 and NOT 5x112 or whatever... Wheelbolt PCD changed going from MK4 to MK5 chassis (Gold etc).

That and offset of the disc is not the same for 5x100 and 5x112 stud pattern

It'll be pretty damned obvious if the guy buys the wrong discs because they won't fit and he'll have to swap them for the right ones.

This is not complicated and my guess is he's already bought and fitted the stuff and is merrily driving his car around rendering all this kindergarten advice completely irrelevant.
