Steering wheels cowling replacement.

Hi guys, can some one told me,Octavia mk3 fl, steering wheel column cowling can be replaced with the same cover but from Golf mk 7? Noticed that plastic in skoda is too sensitive.Would changing it for vw's more durable part.
