As its not possible to get car you want from stock in Ireland , I got what I can afford the best  and will retrofit as much extra I can afford  List is doable for now:

 

1) ACC  as our cars have front radar  for automatic brakes , it is possible to recode/swap coding of the radar to work as ACC distance meeter as swap stalk / steering control module. Steering module is on its way.

 

 

 

2) Digital cockpit.  Sitting on the table and waiting to be installed/recoded. Got it here https://www.facebook.com/groups/441582886578377

 

 

3) Borderless mirror , I had one retrofitted on my SUP3 and its brilliant. Mirror on its way as well.
 

4) Arches black protective trim. Not purchased yet , waiting for funding

 

 

 

 

5) Another thing I am missing very much is front parking sensors. Did not purchase yet. Dealer denied to install and offered instead cheap Chinese  (no offence ) alternative.

 

 

 

6)  In some stupid reason I got Low end low resolution  RVC without trajectory :(  Need to swap to High end one , but not quite sure if I need new wiring or not.  Maybe ( I hope ) just door handle with camera swap.

 

7) Alcantara sport steering wheel left from Superb. Might need to swap buttons from current steering wheel to sport one  due to this "View" Button .

 

8) And at last but not least will be chip-tuning. Still in the progress of selecting best map. Always have alternative to go to trusted old one  garage (where I did already 3 cars) but maybe its time to look at something new , like Powergate3 as example?

Looked on the VCSD (Ross Tech) forum yesterday regarding ACC - not a simple system as needs proprietry coding for the Radar - or swapping to an OLD style radar without the special radar module coding to your vehicle and some VCSD

 

What prices did you pay for the stalks and the VD?

 

Will be interesting to see how you get on - as I would like both of those mods too.

 

Same with the wheel arch trims - how much are they ... my dealer would not quote them nor the door trims on the scout (with silver accent).. said there was no prices in the system...

They ship from Russia.  Took me  1.5 week to get my dashboard.

This is the only English language platform they are using. Another 2 are VK and DRIVE2.RU

Nope , coding will be done remotely via team viewer with help of ODIS. VCDS is not good enough for this swaps. 

 

I retrofitted ACC previously on my SUP3 and yes , this requare  so called "SWAP CODES" . Our radar is capable of being ACC radar , however you need to tell radar itself to became ACC plus Gateway needs to now how to work.  So this task technically require access to VW codes. Dashboard looks like a bit simpler , but still need remote access to VW databases as IMMO needs to be moved and keys readded.

10) Sound like I am going for front camera as well  

Digital cockpit 90% retrofitted  (10% for missing Optical cable between head unit and dashboard require for maps to be displayed)

No , no parking sensors yet.  I found set , but too expensive. Will probably try to find serial number for wire loom and other parts ... or just save

 

For coding...  Seller did provide contact details with garage where the engineer will be able to do this remotely with help of the "team viewer" and ODIS I have.

Retrofitted borderless inside mirror. As I did this second time in my life its took me only 5 minutes of my lunch brake.

 

Had to purchase old shape airbag as my current one did not fit in to the Alcantara flat bottom steering wheel I had on my  Superb.  But found relatively cheap source and here it is:

 

Eibach springs all around, front Koni FSD suspensions and 340mm front brakes are implemented.

Yes , I just finished today  fibre cable install and coding to get full dashboard  functionality.

 

 

 

ACC retrofitted as well.  No limiter , but who need it ?

 

 

(Airbag is not yet fully installed at that stage.)

 

 

(No speed limiter/mode selector)

 

310mm brakes are implemented on the back. Need to source proper splash guards or make them ( maybe my first carbon project ? )

Amazing all, did you get all cables to connect Virtual cockpit? Was it too hard to connect all?

It can fit with Bolero infotainment or it needs other extras to have cockpit running?
